CHRISTMAS ALBUMS ARN'T WHAT THEY USE TO BE.

If you enjoy Christmas as much as I do, you look forward to the specials on television and a possible new Christmas song or album. There is a radio station out of Chicago that starts playing Christmas music around Thanksgiving and continues to play songs all the way through Christmas day, 24 hours a day. I must admit toward the end of the season at 24 hours a day, the music kind of looses it's luster.

Every year some artist sings a new album with all of the traditional songs. Why can't the new singers leave well enough alone and sing the carols like they did years ago like Bing Crosby, Perry Como, Dean Martin and so many others.  One artist (?) I heard yesterday was Justin Bieber. He made a Christmas album that you could tell it was thrown together to get it out for sale. The copies should be pulled from the shelves and burned.  He sang "Little Drummer Boy" in a version of his own which really sucked. In the middle of this beautiful traditional song he started rapping. WHAT THE HELL.
Silent Night was also a disaster as was the rest of the album. I guess when the girls see stars when they look at him, he can sell anything.  TOO BAD.
