WHO IS LOOKING FOR A JOB????????

If you are one of hundreds and hundreds of thousands wrecking your fingers on the computer or driving from one place to another or even  walking from place to place, you know how frustrating a job search can be.
After putting out an endless stream of resumes and sitting waiting for the phone to ring that brings you that ever waited for  (1) PHONE INTERVIEW which leads to (2) a face to face interview which leads to the ever cherished (3) interview where you meet the people YOU MAY work with. After being praised for your accomplished feats in the industry which you are looking for a position,. you are told that "YOU WOULD FIT IN PERFECTLY" and there might be another interview to meet the  uppity ups who will make a final decision. You leave with a big smile on your face  and a bounce in your step. Two or three days later you get that call to come back and tell you it's time to meet the big boys. After that interview you are told they loved you and you probably have the job.
Sitting at home you play the waiting game. One day goes by with a second to follow, that turns into a week and then two. You call and are told your still in the running, sit tight. Now three weeks pass and then a month, then two. You go back online to find that the job is still posted out there.
Who does this sort of thing. Well lets see. Prudential, Blue Cross Blue Shield and other large companies who think it's a game and people who have lost their unemployment and have no income because they don't qualify for any assistance can wait and wait for them to move their ass.
Keep in mind BIG COMPANIES - WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND.

AMERICA'S GOT TALENT.

Who has been watching America's Got Talent? I have been watching it from the beginning. I have seen good acts come and go. I think that the acts that made it to the finale were the one's that need to be there except for the DOGS. You can go to any circus and see the same thing. They my friends ARE NOT A MILLION DOLLAR ACT.  What else can they do beside walk on their hind legs, push a ball, jump through hoops etc.  Would you pay to go see them in Vegas?  I WOULD NOT.
I must say that those AMERICANS that voted for the dogs must have been on drugs or had their heads up their ass.  Tom Cotter, the comedian was great as was the musician who made instruments. I am very upset that the dogs were chosen. Of course Sharon loved them because she has several dogs in her home that think everything in the house is to be peed or crapped on. 
What a joke.

DOES ANYONE CARE?

If you live in the Chicago land area I'm sure that there are things that you get tired of hearing about.  I have two that I could care less about. One is the Drew Peterson trial. How much is it costing the people to keep this this going.  TOO DAMN MUCH.  The second thing is Jessie Jackson Jr. He is in deep depression and is Bi Polar.  Well Jessie who isn't. Especially all those who are out of work and the loss of unemployment payments. 
The news media should get real and cover other stories that the people really care about.

DAD TAKES KIDS FOR A RIDE!

A man in Fort Wayne Indiana wanted to take his kids for a car ride, ages 4 to 7. Of course they accepted the offer. What they didn't know was that they were going to be strapped to the hood of the car using a tow strap.  Lucky for the kids that someone saw them on the hood of the car and called 911. The man was able to drive three blocks before police stopped him. His reply to the police was that he thought the kids would enjoy the ride.
Yup, you guessed it, the man was DRUNK

WOULD YOU SIT IN A HOT CAR?

Would you sit in a hot car? Of course you wouldn't. So if you would not, why would you leave a baby in a car while you went shopping. A 18 year old father left his 4 month old daughter in his SUV  with the temperature outside at 105 degrees and the temperature inside the SUV was 119 degrees. Did this cause her death? Yes it did. She no longer breathes or moves. A life wasted because of some stupid 18 year old punk who pleaded NOT GUILTY. If not him then who. An autopsy show the child had third degree burns on her arms and legs.
What do you think. An eye for a eye?

WELCOME HOME JEREME!!!!!

It's been a long time but it finally came to an end yesterday, Fathers Day.  It could not have been a better present for him and his family.  He is home from a land where crazy bastards live. No more worrying about what is around the next corner.  This is how it should be for all of our men and women overseas. We are destroying our country to protect a country that doesn't give a rats ass about us. His company arrived at Fort Hood yesterday at 2:00 to a crowd of men, women and children waving signs of  "WELCOME HOME", tears, hugs and kisses.
Welcome home Jereme and enjoy the peace and quiet you have here.

WHAT DID YOU DO?

I can't speak for you reading this but the weather here was beautiful if you like HOT weather.  I went to my camper this weekend where the temp. was 98, 100 and Monday 98. Thank goodness for airconditioning in park models. In the mornings, before it got was the temp was around 75 so I could sit on the deck and enjoy my coffee, one or two cups and then the temp started to climb.
At the campground there are two swimming pools and a beach. All were packed to capacity.
Sunday was family day when my son and his family, daughter and her family came out to enjoy the day. Granddaughter came out on Saturday with two of her girlfriends who spent the night sat and sun.
The estimation on the number of people at the campground was around 7500 and you could tell, Golf carts and people walking everywhere. Some were filled to the gills both Saturday and Sunday with alcohol and of course some of these were the trouble makers.
Monday was pack up and go home day I have a Park Model so there was little packing up to do.
Hope all that read this had a wonderful weekend and also a safe one.

WHAT DID IT ACCOMPLISH

Did it accomplish anything? Was it worth all of the money spent on this this? Was it worth disrupting the entire city of Chicago? NO!!!!!!!
Streets were closed, stores were closed and there were restrictions on what commuters could bring on the buses and trains. Stores lost business and people could not walk down streets without being harassed by the police (which is a good thing). That is one job I'm glad I don't have. God Bless the police and the great job they did.
Like I said before, did it accomplish anything. What?  THE NATO SUMMIT. I have always looked at NATO as a useless organization for which the U.S picks up most of the tab, like now. If they want to play their little games that's OK but with it come the protesters and not all are peaceful, there are also trouble makes, losers with out jobs that hide in school pretending to love this country. 
Well anyway it is over today and these freeloaders will be going back to the own countries with thoughts of Chicago with it's beautiful skyline and buildings and eateries, if they got there. One thing these dignitaries should do when they leave is to take the protesters with them.
Now it's back to reality.

STAY OUT OF THE WOODS!

This happened in Union Township, Indiana. This incident involved three 11-year-old girls, one 11-year-old boy and two 12-year-old boys.
As the girls put it they were hanging around in the trail area near the Salt Creek Commons subdivision on Tuesday and were approached by the boys.
One girl said the boys got mad when she threw a chair into a creek and then one of the boys shot her in the leg with a BB gun.
Another boy grabbed the gun and began shooting at all of the girls. Two of the girls fell into the creek and the third was pushed into the creek.  The girls said that one of the boys shot at them when they tried to get out of the water.
The boys said that they were only JOKING when they told the girls that they could not get out of the water.
The result is that the boys were released to their parents. All three were charged with battery in juvenile court and one of the boys was charged with criminal confinement which is a felony.
This is another example of why KIDS should not be given BB guns at this young because  "FORGIVE THEM FATHER FOR THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO", buy them a book to read, that is only if they know how to read.

ROSIE OPENS HER MOUTH AGAIN.

Rosie is now on the TODAY show on some sort of panel. She had some harsh words about Lindsay Lohan playing the part of Elizabeth Taylor. As we know, Rosie rarely has anything good to say about anyone. If I recall correctly didn't Rosie try getting into the acting field and that was a big flop for her career.
When are people going to realize that what she says will always be negative and that the money they are paying her comes out of her mouth and goes into thin air and doesn't mean a damn thing.

ROSIE, ROSIE, ROSIE.

Our girl Rosie O'Donnell is trying it again. Trying what? Trying to make it again on a tv talk show. She blew the one she had some years ago and just recently (God only knows why) Oprah chose her to move to Chicago and take over her show. How did that go? After a few months the audience size was reduced and people were laid off and as we all seen it coming her show was cancelled, she sold he recently bought million dollar home and moved to New York. On the news today it was announced that she is joining the TODAY show. Can't believe it. How long will she last there. I bet it won't be very long. I'm sorry but she is just not a likable person. NUFF said..

EASTER SUNDAY

I would like to  say HAPPY EASTER to all who read this posting.  Yes tomorrow is Easter. It is a religious holiday that remembers the rising again of Christ. But again through the years that meaning has all but disappeared only to be replaced buy the money hungry retailers with the sale of candies, furry stuffed animals, to say it in short it is a minnie Christmas with the Easter Bunny being shoved down our throats so the store owners can get richer and we giving the last of our pay to them.
Remember what this day is about with the thought of the bunny in the back of our minds. Enjoy the day by going to church with family, meeting and dining with friends and relatives. The is what it is all about.

PAPER MAKES MISTAKE!!

In my previous post I mentioned that a man driving drunk killed a man who was getting milk for his family.  I had stated that he was permitted to drive to work. I was a little upset.
In today's paper  it is said that the newspaper had made an error and that the real story was that the man CANNOT drive to work. He must find someone to drive him. THANK GOD! we don't need his type on the street. His driving privileges have been suspended. He is charged with 10 felony counts, six misdemeanor counts and two infractions in connection with the death of the 61 year old man.
The paper commented that they regret the error.

AND THE JUDGE DID WHAT?

On December 30, 2011  a tragic thing happened, a man was killed walking to the store to get milk before he went to work so the kids could have breakfast.  What should have been a short walk turned into tragedy. At around 7:00 a.m. he was hit and killed by a man who was drunk coming home from a bar. It is bad enough it was 7 in the morning and he was drunk and he killed a families father, husband and bread winner but the guy who did it has 100 (ONE HUNDRED) traffic offenses against him. Why did he still have his license?
He should still be in jail but guess what, he is out walking around and has just been given permission to drive to work.  What BULLSHIT. By the looks of this guy, it looks like he would not even fit behind the wheel of a car. I say let him ride a bike, walk or get a ride from someone. HE DOES NOT  BELONG BEHIND THE WHEEL OF A CAR!!!!!!!!!
What has become of our court system to let this happen. My daughter can't even get child support from her dead beat ex and this other jerk is allowed to drive after killing someone.
Where is the justice?

DID IT SET AN EXAMPLE?

After a lengthy trial in Illinois, the ex-governor finally went to prison on March 15, 2012 to serve out a 14 year term for doing something that wasn't right.  At the time of his conviction everyone was saying the this is going to set an example to other politicians in the state capital.  Did it? No. What it comes down to is that a Chicago State Representative was arrested on bribery charges. He is said to have accepted the sum of $7000.00 to write a letter to help a day care center to receive a state grant. Did he learn or did he not know about the ex-governor's arrest.

DID ROBERT DI NERO OFFEND THE FIRST LADY?

Robert Di Nero was hosting a fund raiser for that guy Obama and while introducing the 1st Mrs., made a racial comment in jest which supposedly offended her. You would think that it was the end of the world with everyone telling him it was not right and he should apologize, which he did, I don't know why.
If you think about it how many time as the man offended the American people with his remarks, his not saying the pledge of allegiance and other American traditions that he doesn't follow as the leader of this country. 

SHOULD THIS OFFICER BE FIRED?

Listen to the story of a cop named Paul.  This gentleman wrecked five (5) police cars, yes five. The last one while he was on his way to take a drivers test. He had just completed the classroom portion of the driving test and was on his way to the driving portion and ran into the back of another vehicle because he following to close and turned his car over. This is the fifth accident within 21 months.
His first accident occurred while he was driving into the maintenance garage. Second was when he disregarded a traffic signal. Fourth was when he totaled his squad car while racing to an accident and now this fifth accident.
Luck is in his favor because he hasn't killed anyone. Get him off of the streets before he does.
Maybe he can do some light sweeping around the station without breaking the broom.

WHICH TV SHOWS WOULD YOU ELIMINATE?

After careful consideration and watching much television I ask myself if we need as many singing shows of tv as we have now. American Idol, The Voice and The X Factor. Singing is singing and Lord knows that there are enough singers out there, young and old.
Other show that take up air time are Toddlers and Tara's. The only one's that attend these shows are the parents and grand-parents. The kids have no style and grace and just follow the movements of their coaches or mothers who stand in front of them giving movements.
How about 19 And Counting. Didn't we have enough with Kate Plus 8 and before that Kate & Jon Plus 8.  How about Hill Billy Hand Fishing where one sticks their hand or foot into a hole underwater and waits for a fish to bite them and maybe even get bitten by a snake. Is this good entertainment?
The biggest waste of time is Finding Bigfoot. How long have people been looking and have never gotten  good picture of one. The go out at night and hear a sound in the woods and the first thing out of their mouth is "Yet we have a big foot out here tonite".  Really!!!. Who pays these people for this program that never, never produces anything buy grainy pictures and noises in the woods both day and night. They also have town hall meeting where people stand up and give their account of things they say happened to them or they say. 
Another program is Ghost Hunters. Same thing, Did you hear that?, Did you see that? Give it up folks and get a job.
I would rather listen to Obama speak. Maybe not.

I HOPE.

I hope that the Academy Awards is the LAST  awards show. I am getting a little tired of these, stars? standing in front of the camera's and audience spewing out BS when in fact they are nothing but people who think that they can say and do anything they want both in public and private life. How many of these pot heads belong in jail for things that they have done. I'm not saying that they all are like that but you know who I'm talking about
After the, after the awards program parties are over tomorrow or in a couple of days it will be interesting to see who made a complete ass out of themselves. These are the ones who can't handle the fame and money that they have.
In all honesty I think that there are way to many award programs on the air, and it seems that the same people always win.

MON AND DAD ON VACATION!!!!!!!!!

When mom and dad go on a vacation and there are two teenage girls at home, ages 15 and 18, what is there to do to keep from being bored?  One girl says to the other, let's have a party.  So they did. There were about 25 kids there having a ball dancing and drinking until the wee hours. Sadly enough it all had to come to an end. During that time neither girl  noticed that some of the guests were wandering through the house looking in every room.
A couple of weeks after mom and dad got home it was discovered that $20,000.00 in cash and expensive jewelry were missing. Guess what, NOBODY KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT. Did one of the party goers take it or did it just disappear? It's going to take awhile to question the 25 people that were there and what are the odds that one or more of them is going to say "I TOOK IT".
I'm sure the girls had the right intention to have a party, maybe mom and dad said they could,  but mom and dad should not have left that kind of money lying around.

WHITNEY IS GONE.

Yes Whitney is gone to sing in the choir of Heaven.  She has left us with the memory of a lovely voice and her many, many songs to listen to for years to come. To me I guess her big moment of fame was when she appeared in the movie "The Bodyguard".

It is a shame that way she died will be remembered forever without the world knowing she was drunk and had drugs in her system. Will she be known as a druggie, alcholic and person who went downhill through life.  Is she to be remembered as a saint or not.

Who in the hell is this guy who wants to fly the flags at half mast in her honor. Did she die for our Country. NO. Let's fly the flag at half mast for all the men that come home in coffins from defending our Country. We have to draw the line somewhere folks and it is not with Whitney Houston.

She is not the only one to die a tragic death, so have other singers, actors, politicians and famous people who were involved in liquor and drugs. Maybe these people make too much money and have nothing better to do with their money and have so much free time on their hands.

A GOOD NIGHT FOR THE GIRLS IN SCHERERVILLE.

It was a very nice day Thursday but wouldn't you know that on Friday there was a blizzard which started about 3 p.m.. For the young girls in Schererville, Indiana, this was not acceptable. Why?. It was the night of the Daddy - Daughter Dance. A once a year dance for dads, daughters and friends to share an evening of food, music and dance. 
The weather was terrible but the girls, DeLaney, Gianna and Kylie were a burst of sunshine dressed up in their fancy dresses with their hair done up and their  beautiful flowers. These three girls were all set to cut a rug (if this term is still used). Steve was the man of their dreams that night as he took them away for a fun filled night. THANK YOU STEVE.

When DeLaney came home she was floating on a cloud. She didn't want to sleep on her hair for fear of messing it up and she wanted to keep her flowers forever to remind her of that night.

RIGHT-TO-WORK BILL PASSED!!!!

On Wednesday Indiana became the state number 23 to adopt the Right-To-Work bill to get more jobs for the Indiana citizens.  This is wrong because it will not do that. What it will do is bring in higher profits for all businesses and lower wages, and benefits for the now union employees. What a tragedy it is that we have so many uninformed and brain dead people who run our government. I'm sure that their pockets were lined very well by big business.
FORGIVE THEM FOR THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO!
Forgive us when election time comes around and we vote these YES people out.

LET'S SHOW HOW TO BE A GOOD LOOSER.

Some people are lucky to be able to be good or excellent about what they do and show that they are a leader and set a good example to others especially the younger generation.
Lets go to the Australian Open where the world's champion tennis players have gathered to play a game of glorified ping pong.
One player, Marcos Baghdatis show the world and spectators the proper way to conduct yourself  after losing two straight sets. You simply and calmly sit down, take your racket, which I am sure is not cheap, and smash the living hell out of it then take another and then another and do the same thing. I guess money and reputation don't mean much to these people as it showed with previous players who also had displays of temper.
Are these players, men or women, setting a good example to the young or the sport. Maybe they should be punished in some way or fined.

IT'S HERE, IT'S HERE!!!!!

It's here is the voice of a young child who has been waiting forever for the first major snowfall. My daughter woke my granddaughter up this morning to get ready for school. She jumped out of bed got dressed and put her snow pants on and started to outside to play in the snow. Mom caught her going out of the door and told her they had to go to grandpa's house to go to school. Granddaughter said that they had the day off, so a call to the neighbor was made and sure enough today is teacher conference day and there is no school. A nice four day weekend is in store because they are also off Monday for Martin Luther King day. My daughter said it would have been nice to know that there was no school today so we could sleep in longer.
At least you can say that the kids will get plenty of exercise today and will, hopefully, fall asleep early and sleep late for the next four days. God Bless them.

RIGHT TO WORK

The State of Indiana Supreme Beings are now  back from Christmas break and will be voting for a RIGHT TO WORK bill that will affect thousands of union members of all trades, men who have gone to school and put in many hours learning their trades, and now they want to let people who are NON UNION members  with no schooling come in and start working the same jobs at a lower pay and less benefits.
My son worked for years at lesser jobs hoping to get into a trade and finally six or seven months ago he got into the Iron Workers Union. He work on the job plus goes to school once a week. He is at this point making a decent wage and hopes to increase that wage over the years. If they pass this RIGHT TO WORK BILL your unions will slowly disappear as well as the salaries.
At one time Indiana had a RIGHT TO WORK  and found out that it didn't work and repealed it. It will not create more jobs, just destroy what is already established.
It if does pass, remember who voted for it and vote them out of officer at election time.
We do not want the RIGHT TO WORK bill in INDIANA.

PEOPLE SERVING LIFE IN PRISION ARE ASKED TO HELP WITH TAX RETURNS

It is said on the news this morning that the government is looking for prisoners that are sentenced to life to help prepare tax returns. It was said that this has been going on for a few years and a lot of money has been lost. Do they mean stolen or what.
I for one do not feel comfortable with this.
