THANKSGIVING DINNER

Today is another special day for my two granddaughters attending Protsman school in Dyer, Indiana. They are being treated to a full blown Thanksgiving dinner with turkey and all of the trimmings as well as some wonderfule deserts. They will even be in costume to fit the times.
Each class was assigned to bring a certain item for this dinner. Angelica's thrid grade class had to bring Ranch dressing. With 25 children in her class, that is a lot of dressing. Delaney's first grade class was assigned to bring one pound of butter. That too is a lot of butter, but with the amount of kids, teachers and volunteers to feed, maybe not.

I think this is wonderful to let the children live the past and see what the first Thanksgiving was like. HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL.
