PARENTS CUTTING EXPENDITURE ON CHILDREN

A survey by Engage Mutual Assurance shows that debt fears have resulted in tightening the family budget, with 44% of those with children under the age of 18 claiming to be struggling to make ends meet. It also shows that more than one in five parents care cutting back on clothes spending, while spending on toys is being minimised by 26% and investments for children will be limited by 22%.
